Growing Canada based Manufacturer looking for Production Supervisor in its Paradise, Newfoundland facility with opportunity to support other international facilities.

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure accurate and efficient production
• Tracking production in the data base and planning production
• Communicate the plan for the day to the team and ensure targets are met
• Effectively be able to train and/or relieve team members as required
• Ensuring all employee training is completed
• Tracking parts consumption and determining parts and consumable requirements
• Ensure standards for a safe and organized working environment are maintained
• Support process improvement and change management
• Perform basic maintenance
• Tracking performance
• Ensuring production documentation completed properly
• Required administrative tasks (hour confirmation, bonus calculation, hiring)
• Maintain relation with the client in Long Harbour by periodic visits
• Identify business opportunities

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Good organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing equipment, processes and projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Drivers license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
