We are currently recruiting for an entry level Procurement Coordinator opportunity with our client in Concord. The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for the management of volume rebates from the comparison of contracts to reconciliation and collections. Applicants for this role should enjoy working autonomously as well as with a team, be open to learning, and hold intermediate Excel skills and knowledge.

With a head office in Vaughan, the team is working a rotating hybrid schedule of 5 days in office, and 5 days from home (free parking is offered).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review rebate contracts, source approvals and record for tracking income
• Prepare forecast, analyze for accuracy and review with procurement leaders
• Provide GL coding to the accounting department for payments
• Monthly reconciliation of rebate accounts for finance
• Seasonal tasks – update internal buying guide, issue invoices for services and update prepaid rebates
• Maintain the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) software
• Cross training on issuing pricing credits
• Assist with Pricing and Product File department tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Post secondary education, preferably in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills (i.e. vlookups, pivot tables, etc)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey messages in an organized, clear, and effective manner
• Strong attention to detail, with a penchant for finding and implementing efficiencies in daily tasks
• Well organized, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• A personal drive for growth and learning

Nice to have:

• Previous experience or exposure to Cognos or other related data intelligence software
• Previous experience with ERP systems

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma
