As Power Systems Technician you will provide field support for installation, test, repairs, operation, and/or maintenance of power distribution and related controls equipment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Perform a variety of power system commissioning assignments including installation, test, operation and maintenance of electrical power distribution and control equipment;
• Investigate the causes of electromechanical equipment/subsystem failures and develop repair solutions or contact vendor for warranty service;
• Ensure the availability and working condition of all requested tools/devices/equipment to facilitate the T&C activities in the workshop;
• Assure the calibration of testing tools/devices used in all activities;
• Report immediately any failure, damage or deviation.
• Electrical or electronics engineering technology diploma;
• Red seal trade designation;
• Solid hands-on experience on medium voltage switchgear;
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and networking;
• Knowledge in electrical system and application.
