Post-Doctoral Fellow Research Associate - Faculty of Education

Faculty member Dr. Gabriela Arias de Sanchez is seeking one Post-doctoral Fellow Research Associate with a strong early childhood /early years research background to work on a large-scale research project. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare data collection tools
• Collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data
• Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts and presentations of research results
• Disseminate research findings for publication, research seminars, etc.
• Contribute to writing proposals for research funding
• Provide guidance to students where appropriate

Successful candidate will have:

• A Phd in early childhood education and or early years education
• Well-developed data management skills and broad methodological training, including familiarity with quantitative and qualitative approaches
• Substantive teaching background in early childhood and or early years education
• Ability to work independently

This post-doctoral assignment is an 18-month term position. A competitive post-doctoral salary ($45,000) will be funded on a per annum basis.
