St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part-Time, Probationary Administrative Assistant 4 for a work assignment in École Secondaire Paul Kane High School .

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.

Hours of Work: 30 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Part-Time Probationary

Hourly Rate: $22.73 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

Start Date: As soon as possible

Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
Providing a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, colleagues and visitors to the school is of utmost importance.

Original placement will be assisting in student services.

Knowledge of PowerSchool would be an asset.

Demonstrate organizational skills.

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Google suites) would be an asset.

Confidentiality is key due to working with students and families coming from vulnerable situation.

Experience working in a fast paced school environment along with excellent communication and human relations skills.

Additional hours may be required during busy times and school events.
