We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.We are currently seeking a Full-Time Permanent Operations Analystto join our team in St. John’s, NL.Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for managing production schedule – working with the different departments on resource loading, supply chain, hangar allocation, and workflows.
• Control aircraft induction schedules, understanding of contract and project prioritization, ability to forecast production hurdles, recommend solutions and adapt accordingly
• Ability to organize and deconflict tight timelines, aggressive schedules, competing projects and stakeholder expectations
• Monitor the operations to ensure everything is controlled and following the correct sequence
• Liaison with project stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency through project life-cycle management
• Coordinate with management to adjust production plans to prevent operational inefficiencies
• Identify and recommend solutions to minimize lost labour productivity
• Support management on departmental workloads, manufacturing workflows and labour productivity resources
• Liaison with Managers to ensure labour activity is assigned to appropriate tasks to ensure acceptable project progress
• Identify technical and schedule difficulties that arise related to equipment, facilities, and maintenance productivity
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly/annual initiatives to stakeholders and senior leadership team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Aviation Management, Business, or a related subject.
• A minimum of (5) years of direct management experience in technical and/or aerospace programs is preferred
• Considerable knowledge in new/start up project development activities such as research, planning and data collection
• Project management certification and PMP certification is considered an asset
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders with diverse functional backgrounds (including engineering, supply chain, production, software development)
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple project development activities
• Demonstrated results-oriented approach to projects
• Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills
• Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, including technical, professional, and senior management
• Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
• Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders
• Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
