Transcribe audio to help build state-of-the-art AI-powered speech recognition models!

This is an AI Specialist project. Our team’s mission is to deliver the best data solutions and expertise to developers of AI for communication, driven by our passion for innovation and our love of languages.

Your task is to produce highly accurate transcriptions of speech combined with annotation mark-up. We will provide you with Guidelines for how to transcribe and annotate the audio. The data will be used to develop better AI-powered speech recognition.

This project is a multi-component project, involving multiple data types:

• conversational speech (2 speakers)
• spontaneous speech (1 speaker)
• scripted speech (1 speaker)

Successful contributors will be prioritized for all projects, and work will be allocated depending on work availability.

• Our goal is to pay our crowd above the minimum wage in every market around the world where we operate.

Requirements:

• Stable internet connection
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of basic linguistic concepts
• Good reading comprehension skills in English
• Ability to review examples and apply rules to data
• Familiarity with spelling conventions in French (Canada)
• Native/Near-native knowledge of French (Canada)
• Prior experience with transcription
• Prior experience with annotation of acoustic data
• Successful completion of our qualification process:
• Assess the accuracy of your spelling:
• You will need to pass either the:
• French (Canada) Certification Quiz with a score of 85%.
• Assess your understanding of the project guidelines provided:
• You will need to pass the Guidelines Quiz with a score of 85%. You have 2 attempts to pass the Quiz.

3. Complete the Registration page and click the Submit Application button to create your account

5. Choose the "Apply" button to start your qualification for the project.
