Tamarack Valley Energy is looking for a Contract Field Operator for their LaGlace field. Candidates must be from the Grande Prairie area or provide their own accommodations. This is an 8/6 shift with 10 hour days.
Additional requirements include:

• 5+ years of field operating experience
• Oil batteries, pump jacks, ESP’s, compression, sour field
• Reliable individual with good attention to detail
• Able to work long hours outdoors
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with health, safety and environmental practices and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations production, activities, processes, and procedures
• Highly organized with the ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
• Good with computers
• Self-starter who can work independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Possess proven communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Mechanical aptitude is a definite asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.99-$43.78 per hour

Experience:

• Petroleum & Natural Gas Extraction Occupations: 3 years (preferred)
