Responsibilities

• Work with advanced manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, robotic systems, and presses.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment under standardized procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
• Perform welding, sheet metal fabricating, hand finishing, grinding, and polishing.
• Design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and system.
• Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices.
• Day Shift, and Saturdays are sometimes required.
  

Must Have’s

• Provide a copy of Certificate of Qualification.
• Fluid Power background, certificate.
• Tool shop equipment experience.
• 5-10 years experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team-orientated flexible manufacturing environment.
• Welding experience.
• Candidate must be able to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic drawings.
• Mechanical dexterity with good hand eye coordination.
  

Nice To Have

• Willing to train
• Metal Fabrication industry experience, an asset.
