Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in the Aerospace and Defense industry. We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Designer with our internal and external operations. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.Location: St Laurent, QC (Hybrid)Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment performing design at the system and component levels of flight simulators.
• Be responsible for the design, and design documentation including 3D CAD models, 2D drawing parts list.
• Work closely with the senior engineering staff to generate cost effective solution to meet our customer requirements.
• Make recommendations of design modifications in order to meet design requirements during the design, build and testing phases.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in design of Jigs and Fixtures.
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
• Relevant experience in Structural Design.
• Proficient with CREO and CAD SW, and PLM.
• Team player.
• Proficient with MS-Office tools.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and composite materials design.
• Experience creating conceptual and detailed designs with sheet metal and/or composite materials will be considered an asset.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is preferred.
