About The Job

Reporting to the Manager, Finished Products Planning, the Material Planner is responsible for procurement planning for packaging materials and ingredients used by Danone Canada plants.

More specially, you will be responsible to

• Ensure that the planning system as a whole is maintained and optimized; regularly verify all parameters and update them as needed
• Develop procurement in order to reduce obsolescence to a minimum and meet product launch deadlines in collaboration with project, marketing and sales teams
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators obsolescence, daily inventory, service, forecast accuracy
• Be the sole contact for buyers manage material problems, develop forecasting accuracy, implement projects to grow Danone’s brands
• Support suppliers’ performance by building trusting relationships while coordinating their continuous improvement efforts in their business with Danone
  

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business management, industrial engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with supply chains
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, and of procedures and systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
• Fully bilingual (spoken and written) in English and French
