Marketing Specialist

This is a 7 to 9-month +/- contract replacement (approx.). This position could turn into a long-term position depending.

About the Role -The Marketing Specialist is a valuable resource responsible for coordinating and managing marketing activities for several manufacturer partners in an agency-style environment and also coordinates various company vehicles and/or manufacturer-sponsored projects.

Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do
  • Support marketing activities to include email marketing, analytics, reporting, and other administrative duties. Focus around supporting digital marketing activities
  • Manage and execute vendor sponsored programs, promotions and activities (includes activity tracking, identification of material requirements, calendar management and collection of materials).
  • Coordinate various ongoing TD SYNNEX marketing projects and administrative activities on a monthly basis
  • Work with finance department to complete billing process accurately and on time for all projects.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines regarding booking activities, preparing purchase orders and allocating funds to procure products and services.
  • Brainstorm and identify opportunities to increase marketing profit via incremental funding and improve TD SYNNEX market image via exclusive promotions
  • Perform other projects as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

What We’re Looking For
  • College Diploma University degree in business, marketing or communications preferred
  • Marketing related experience including email automation, analytics, and reporting preferred
  • Marketing, communications, project management experience
  • Administration, sales and/or marketing and project management
  • Distribution or agency experience working with multiple clients on marketing projects and/or initiatives.
  • Advertising sales is a definite asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the industry
  • Efficient with computers and MS Office products, excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as proofreading, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with Marketo, Workfront and advanced Excel a plus
  • General professional conduct required at all times
  • Strong time/self-management skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
