Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Audio Entertainment Brands, this position is accountable for supporting the brand strategy, campaign management, and the daily execution of the RSM audio entertainment portfolio across Canada, including over 50 radio stations and RSM’s Podcast Networks. This position will play a key role in driving the successful growth and consumption of the audio brands. Working with a highly cross-functional team, this role will collaborate internally and externally with the Creative, Content, PR, Digital, Sales, Production, and Media Agency teams to ensure continued growth and success of the brands.


What you will do...


Brand & Marketing Strategy

  • Leverage market understanding and consumer insights to inform and shape brand philosophy, positioning and growth strategies
  • Assist in the development of brand documents (brand frameworks, guidelines, etc.)
  • Understand, support, and help drive business objectives
  • Monitor product/content alignment to overarching brand strategy


Marketing Execution

  • Help drive ratings goals across all platforms (TV, Digital, Social, Audio etc.)
  • Coordinate the execution of multiple campaigns at a local and national level
  • Develop creative briefs for content executions, promotions, and advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate media planning with partners agencies and cross-functional teams for internal and external marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate and cross-promote with brand partners on sponsorships, activations, social media, and content integrations
  • Support local markets with creative asset development for local promotions


Tracking and Performance

  • Monitor brand performance against objectives and KPI’s
  • Perform competitive analysis and monitor consumer trends
  • Support marketing priorities to optimize total portfolio revenue
  • Support marketing opex budget management
  • Drive positive shifts on Key Brand Attribute scores and improve overall portfolio marketing effectiveness


What you will bring...

  • A deep love for audio content and entertainment brands
  • Experience within brand marketing and/or media/entertainment marketing
  • A strong understanding of marketing and campaign management
  • Outstanding project management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience overseeing multiple campaigns that deliver results
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability the take initiative
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners,
  • Passionate enthusiasm to be a part of a high performing team!
  • College / University Degree, or strong experience in a similar role required.
