Your Role

The Market Analyst’s primary mandate is to manage processes and analyses related to commodity and component costing for the Merchandising team to support efforts to optimize costing. The incumbent will leverage project management and analytics skills to ensure execution of cost review process and advise the business based on subject-matter expertise in commodities.

Your Role More Specifically

• Manage/lead cost increase analyses and justifications through analysis and communication development
• Create cost change and commodity trend reporting
• Monitor commodity trends and identify business impacts
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support special projects
• Monitor process execution and identify and lead implementation of improvements
  

Your Profile

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint
• Experience performing financial and ad hoc analyses using Excel functionality and providing recommendations
• Ability to consolidate, analyze, and effectively communicate complex data
• Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English)
