Seafair Capitalis looking for a creative and results-oriented person who is excited by those questions – and who demonstrates strong communication, business acumen and teamwork skills – to be our Manager of Recruitment and Engagement. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you’ll play an integral role in guiding growth and be responsible for the leading the recruitment and engagement strategies for Seafair and its group of companies.

You will be the strategic leader of our recruitment activities, utilizing technology and data to measure key HR performance indictors. Using this information, you will build our recruitment strategy and refine our recruiting processes to meet the strategic needs of our companies and support them as they grow.

You will have accountability for employee engagement activities across Seafair and support the overall engagement plan. This includes developing, execution and analysis of engagement measures, as well as collecting other performance indicators, such as employee retention rates, turnover rates, etc.

You believe in diversity, equity and inclusion and foster a culture that embraces these values. You demonstrate a sound knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, preferably with a PMP designation. You build strong relationships, can coach others to deliver recruitment goals and strive for efficiency by utilizing technology. People describe you as a strong communicator both verbally and in writing, and your orientation to client service and outcomes is well-known by those who work with you. Key Activities
  • LiveourCore Valuesand keepour culture strong.
  • Use data to make decisionsand measure outcomes.
  • Design, develop and maintain the recruitment plan and processes of Seafair its operating companies.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for management positions for Seafair and its operating companies (Seafair & Co.).
  • Updates and maintains “Welcome” package and hiring documentation.
  • Responsible for onboarding new management employees and making continuous improvements to the onboarding plan.
  • Manage three (3) recruiters and provide statistics on key performance indicators on recruitment and engagement activities.
  • Work with the recruitment team to develop and streamline the recruitment process for front line and management.
  • Optimize HRMS and applicant tracking system to maximize efficiency.
  • Build and foster relationships across business functions and locations to ensure employees are engaged and informed no matter where they are based.
  • Drive a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue.
  • Gather, analyze and present key employee engagement metrics to help support the delivery of key initiatives and prepare reports for key stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • Deliver on the recruitment and engagement strategies for HR and support stability and growth in the companies.
  • Embrace innovationand always strive to learn and share industry trends and best practices in recruitment and employee engagement.
What You Will Need
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, specializing in human resources and /or RPR (registered professional recruiter) designation and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a recruitment role and two years in a senior recruiter or recruitment manager role.
  • Ability to implement employee engagement activities. Experience in leading employment engagement activities would be considered an asset.
  • Work experience in a multi site, multi functional organization preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to assimilate, analyze, and present information in appropriate formats
