Machine Operator (FT)

The Machine Operator is a full-time position and operates our takeout box machinery. Employees must follow This machine requires a detail-oriented operator who can think quickly to keep up with the fast pace required. You must be able to retain instructions and use attention to detail and accuracy to set up, clean, and operate machinery.

Skills And Qualifications

• Legally entitled to work in Canada, and able to attend a virtual first interview - invites will be sent by email.
• Hands-on experience operating physical machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to problem solve production errors and to make manual adjustments to the machines.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift 25 to 30 lbs.
• Reasonable English speaking and comprehension, understand instructions, and safety orientation.
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots are required. The company provides hearing protection.
  

Additional Information

• Our facility is located in an industrial area and so own transportation is recommended.
• The hourly rate for the position is $19-$20 per hour depending on experience.
• The schedule of work is Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
