Occucheck Clinic Inc. is a healthcare employment agency. We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for upcoming temporary assignments in a long term care facility.

Shifts:Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off. Rotation: 2 Days/2 Nights/4 off. Averaging agreement in place. 3-6 month assignments.

Accommodation per diem provided.

Description:

With a focus on senior living, the Licensed Practical Nurse performs duties in accordance within his or her scope of practice set out by the BCCNM as well as company (senior living facilities) policies and procedures.

Summary of responsibilities, but not limited to, include assessment of residents; medication administration; wound care; documentation; liaising with physicians, community agency representatives, families, and volunteers; supervision of staff; and other duties as per senior living facility.

Qualifications:

Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing LPN registrant in good standing

Current CPR/BLS certificate

Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, long term care an asset

Proof of covid-19 vaccinations.

Licence/Certification:
