Role: Licensed Automotive Technician - Stratford Subaru

An immediate opening exists for a Licensed Automotive Technician with an established and growing Subaru dealer. The ideal candidate will have proven mechanical skills, a history of delivering value to customers, be goal-driven and coachable. We are looking to expand our already-great team!

Duties and responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
• Proper vehicle diagnosis and repair of vehicle malfunction
• Qualify vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing repair
• Inspection of all vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and maintenance needs
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards
• Responsible for delivering exceptional mechanical care to customer vehicles to ensure and maintain long-term customer relationships and trust
• Commitment to delivering value to the customer

Required qualifications:

• Certificate of Qualification – Automotive Mechanic
• High School or equivalent
• Ideally, two (2) years minimum in technician position
• One (1) year Subaru product experience
• General dealership experience
• Valid Ontario driver’s license

Compensation:

• To be determined; market-competitive, based on skill and experience

Hours of work:

• Hours of work to be scheduled within Stratford Subaru’s normal operating hours Monday to Friday with Saturday shift as demand warrants.
