MaXfield LP is a progressive manufacturer that is well known for its superior quality products, which include highway tank vehicles, pressure vessels, compressed gas pump packages and more. We are currently looking for Junior Mechanical Engineer (E.I.T.) to work at our Crossfield plant.

Job Purpose:

Design products to customer specifications by applying your engineering knowledge and practical skills.

Duties:

• Apply knowledge of Codes, manufacturing, and engineering to design safe products
• Develop 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks
• Perform calculations to verify structural integrity of products
• Prepare mechanical sketches, assembly drawings and detail drawings that will be used for manufacturing.
• Prepare technical design reports for federal and provincial authorities
• Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing education
• Works as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, SolidWorks, FEA, Structural Calculations, Mechanical Aptitude, Attention to Detail, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code ASME VIII-1, ASME Piping Code B31.3, CSA B620.
