Junior Accountant and/or Experienced Accounting Assistant

ADXWEB Marketing Inc. is growing and we need an experienced Accountant to help manage the day to day operations of our company. Our client range is diverse and our customers expect much from our expertise. From construction to auto-repair and carpet cleaning to printing, we do it all and we are looking for the right fit to add to our team.

Primary Focus and Job Requirements:

Responsible for the preparation and processing of the biweekly and monthly payroll, including report preparation and verification, records of employment and all other related payroll matters.

- Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements that included balance sheets, income statements, equity statements, working papers and loan balances.

- Administered journal entries, reconciled accounts, calculated company’s payroll & timesheets and prepared GST & payroll remittance.

- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes.

Prepare and post journal entries including inventory, intercompany transactions and all other accounting tasks as required.

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Required Skills:

This position requires a sound understanding of accounting principles and practices, policies and procedures, applicable legislation, and regulations.

Extensive knowledge of computer software programs, data base, spreadsheet and integrated financial and accounting systems is required.

Minimum of 3 years related work experience and post-secondary education required.
