Our rapidly growing company is hiring a Journeyman/woman Parts Technician for our Nisku operations.

The Parts Technician will perform ordering, warehousing, inventory control and sales of parts, serving heavy duty machinery and power generation systems.

Duties:

• Provide customer service and advice

• Maintain, handle and warehouse stock

• Identify and catalogue parts and assemblies

• Order, receive, inspect, sort, maintain inventory

• Price supplies, parts and assemblies

• Prepares statements

• Maintains records

Skills:

• Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate work and to assign and supervise the work of subordinates. Considerable knowledge of mechanical parts, catalogues, distributors and dealers.

• Considerable knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices.

• Proficiency with required computer systems.

• Ability to maintain records.

• Ability to understand and execute oral and written-instructions.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

• Physical strength and agility sufficient to perform the work of this class.

Qualifications:

• Min 5 years experience, preferably in heavy duty mechanical and/manufacturing

• Power generation experience is a strong asset

• Journeyman certification preferred
