1-800-GOT-JUNK? is growing and looking for positive, physically fit people to join our Truck Teams in Vancouver. We’re the World’s Largest Junk Removal Service, known for our professional, friendly team members and clean, shiny blue trucks.

With 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, each day is different from the next. You’ll get to travel around the nicest areas of the Lower Mainland while taking away customer’s unwanted items. Variety is the spice of life!

Truck Team Member – General Labour / Customer Service / Driver
Full-Time & Part-Time

At 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, we take measures to ensure our team members have access to the recommended health and safety precautions to provide this essential service. Our safety focus areas are: healthy teams, physical distance, safety equipment and training, and refusal of service.

Each shift starts at our Vancouver office, located at #102 - 8410 Ontario St. in Vancouver; a 15 min walk from Marine Drive Station (there’s also free street parking). From there, you’ll be matched up with a different team member and head out for the day to customers’ homes or businesses to take away their unwanted items. We are committed to being as environmentally friendly as possible by recycling, donating and other options for keeping as much out of landfills as possible.

Compensation:

• $16.50/hr + tips/incentives (most earn more than $22.00+/hr. to start).
• We offer performance-based and promotion-based pay raises as you stay and grow on the team.

• Truck Team Members can keep their junk finds (we have a process that TTM’s follow). Our guys have scored pristine leather couches, XBox, flat screen TV’s, bikes, kayaks, patio furniture, the list goes on and on!.

Schedules that work:

• We offer full-time or part-time hours (as long as you can work at least 2-days per week).
• We can accommodate students looking for work evenings and weekends.
• We also welcome people here on work visas/permits - you just need to have at least 90-days remaining on your term here that you can work.

About you:

• 18+ years of age
• Valid driver’s license (no special license required to drive our trucks)
• A positive, friendly attitude
• Physically capable of lifting 50lbs+ repeatedly
• Good verbal and written communication skills; strong command of the English language
• Previous general labour or customer service experience a plus!
