ROLE @ MNP

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and configure software for integration with MNP’s third party accounting software (Caseware)
• Build and maintain integrations to extend the functionality of third-party software in JavaScript
• Build and maintain C#, .NET and .NET Core applications based on technical specifications
• Work with SQL databases using T-SQL, Entity Framework and SSMS
• Use Azure DevOps to manage work planning, code repositories and deployments
• Be an active participant in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review and retrospective
• Perform code reviews to ensure best architecture and security practices and coding standards are followed
• Contribute to application architecture decisions
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers through pair programming, code reviews, demos and lunch and learns
  

Skills And Experience

• At least five (5) years of experience integrating with third party aplications using C#, JavaScript or equivalent and .NET Framework/Core (ASP.NET Core is preferred), with an understanding of the related limitations
• Three (3) or more years of experience mentoring junior team members is preferred
• Experience with Caseware or other comparable accounting software is considered an asset
• Passionate about team cohesion, mentoring and knowledge transfer
• Experience with Azure DevOps for work tracking source control is an asset
