We are looking for a Security & Strategy Co-op Student to join our Business Development, Government & Defense team for an 8-month term. The positions starts in January 2024 in Calgary, AB.
Relocation assistance may be provided to the successful candidate.
Co-op Student Requirements (General):
- Enrollment in a co-op (or internship) program in a recognized Canadian university
- Excellent computer skills and experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate technical vocabulary
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal vehicle may be required for some positions.

Business Development, Government & Defense

Description:
ATCO Frontec is a market leader providing facilities management, camp services, operational support services and disaster and emergency management for a diverse range of clients. We are a service-based organization made up of great people who work hard to get the job done and deliver excellence in the communities where we work and live. The Business Development, Government & Defense team has a variety of exciting opportunities on the horizon including large Canadian government initiatives such as NORAD Modernization. With so many opportunities to pursue, this position will be engaging and dynamic.
Activities:
- Conduct research on subjects of interest to the Business Development team using government databases, private sector businesses’ websites, and networking sites like LinkedIn and Indeed
- Summarize research findings in a succinct and informative manner using PowerPoint presentations and Excel charts
- Attend pre-bid update sessions and assist with strategic reviews for proposals (i.e., Red Team reviews)
