Alcool NB Liquor is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and lead the implementation of our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365), with a focus on optimizing processes and streamlining workflows for all business functions. This senior-level and highly strategic role helps deliver on company goals and supports the growth of the ANBL and Cannabis NB businesses.

About the position
Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the Program Manager will provide overall program leadership, direction, and governance throughout the organization-wide project. They will determine suitable strategies and objectives, coordinate cross-project activities, and assess project and program performance to maximize ROI.

Note: This is a 2-year senior manager or director-level term position with potential for extension in one-year increments or become permanent. Full benefits, including health insurance and pension contributions, are included. Base compensation is up to $125,000/per annum (total compensation is up to $160,000 annually).

Additional responsibilities include
  • Developing and managing a roadmap of all significant project components across the program, linking solutions to business targets
  • Engaging and educating the executive and senior management teams to drive appropriate communications, demonstrating linkage to the various solutions and how they enable value capture, and business plan targets for each deployment
  • Leading the program governance with overall responsibility for the financial management of the initiative, ensuring costs incurred are monitored and reported against budget
  • Defining project organization structure, priorities, staffing roles, responsibilities, and training requirements
  • Driving tactical activities to ensure integration with other organizational initiatives
  • Identifying, assessing, managing, mitigating, and controlling program risks and issues
  • Acting as a single point of contact for program-related communication and status updates for the leadership teams on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Creating business continuity and contingency plans for the program
  • Facilitating procurement and contract management, both internally and with 3rd party service / solution providers

About you
You are comfortable in leadership roles involving people, risk, innovation, conflict resolution, and change management. You have the reputation for “getting things done”, with a focus on fostering and influencing collaborative relationships to gain consensus, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives. You are at ease communicating at all levels of the organization and readily adapt your presentations and messaging to the audience.

Your leadership skills
You are adept at developing and maintaining relationships between business process owners, users, stakeholders, project teams, and internal and external consultants. You will help develop and execute the vision for all business systems, from small upgrades through major implementations. As a significant contributor to the IT and Business teams, you are providing insight and opportunities in day-to-day tactical discussions while raising and engaging in strategic discussions for organizational improvements.

Your technical skills
You bring a strong understanding of ERP technical system design, coupled with a breadth of experience across all business functions including Finance, Retail Channels, Supply Chain, Operations, Human Resources, Category Management, Marketing, and IT. You collaborate regularly with leaders to understand their needs and transform them into solutions that enable better operations and stronger decision-making.

Technical stack (including but not limited to)
  • Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Power BI Reporting, Power Platform (Apps), Azure, SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS
  • Business application systems, including e-Commerce, warehouse management software, POS, data warehousing, master data management, EDI, Finance, Payroll, etc.

What you need to be successful
  • 8+ years progressive experience in a project or program management function, leading enterprise-level transformation initiatives (PMP certification preferred)
  • Prior experience participating in at least one full ERP implementation, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, risk and issue tracking and resolution, cross functional and service provider facilitation, financial acumen, budget management, and change management skills
  • Prior experience planning and managing multi-site implementations

Location
  • Reporting into the ANBL Retail Operations Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick
  • The successful candidate must be based in New Brunswick
  • Semi-regular travel to Fredericton for meetings and critical incidents will be required
