Location: TorontoJob Summary:
Reporting to the CPO, the Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for creating the communication strategy that supports Li-Cycle’s HR and internal priorities. Working with the HR and Marketing department, the Internal Communications Manager will develop consistent messaging to the organizations internal stakeholders and identify the appropriate messaging channels. In addition, will ensure language and style is consistent with the overall employer branding as established by the Li-Cycle Marketing & Communications department.
Our ideal candidate will be a driven individual with high attention to detail and organization, and a positive “can-do” attitude.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create communication campaigns and other initiatives to engage employees
Understand and align the HR business needs with the target audience
Ensure internal and external HR communications are aligned with Li-Cycles branding guidelines, corporate culture and values
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for Li-Cycle.com website to ensure an appropriate focus on current and prospective employees
Determine effectiveness and provide recommendations on internal communications strategies
Engage employees and promote participation in various company events
Manage internal communication methods, including leveraging HRIS, OneDrive and other systems/tools to be determined
Job Qualifications:
A degree in Communications, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant HR experience
Mastery of the English language in terms of both verbal and written communication skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office
Extraordinary attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport and maintaining relationships
Experience working in a large multi-national organization would be an asset; cultural sensitivity is a must
A proactive, energetic self-starter who can operate as part of a team or individually
Ability to demonstrate good judgement and a high level or professionalism
The ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-paced dynamic environment
A high degree of professionalism and independence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience supporting a fast paced/rapidly growing cleantech, manufacturing or engineering environment an asset.
