Turner Fleischer is one of Canada’s most progressive architectural firms, with an agile studio of 240+ committed, creative and driven professionals. We excel at developing client-centric concepts that are based on their needs but grounded in over 49 years of experience getting projects built. Our in-house design departments include Residential + Mixed-Use, Commercial + Industrial, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research + develop, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.


What are we looking for?

We have an immediate opening in our Interior Design department for a Project Manager. Our Interior Designers are responsible for creating engaging, and memorable environments that balance aesthetics and functionality. The Project Manager represents Turner Fleischer to our clients and leverages their expertise to guide members of their teams.


What you will do:

  • Lead the design process creating solutions that both align with and exceed client expectations, ensuring the design intent is captured from the initial design phase through construction.
  • Ensure the project team has an ongoing and consistent understanding of project deliverables and client’s expectations throughout the duration of the project.
  • Deliver high-quality projects from concept to completion on time and within budget.
  • Review and coordinate the execution of the deliverables as defined in the scope of work utilizing Revit and other design software.
  • Prepare fee proposals and all related contracts prior to commencement of the work to ensure the fee structure, project schedule, staff allocation and client expectations are clearly defined.
  • Define the project team based on skills that align with the scope of work.
  • Ensure projects fully meet or exceed client expectations of service and are of high quality and all practices, processes and procedures followed in accordance with TF standards.
  • Lead key project team meetings internally and externally in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Attend off-site work, including but not limited to, site visits and meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors as required;
  • Manage all project financial objectives ensuring any project that deviates from its original scope, critical path and/or allocated budget is addressed promptly.
  • Identify issues of potential risk or concern in accordance with the Risk Management processes of the firm.

What you will bring :

  • Degree/diploma from an accredited institution in Interior Design, or Architecture.
  • 5-7 years of industry experience managing projects from initial concept through to execution and delivery.
  • A desire to inspire project team members to produce great work.
  • Registered ARIDO Member, preferred.
  • Working proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Revit experience would be considered an asset. .
  • Knowledgeable in the OBC and other provincial and national building codes and their application to the built form.
