As a Integrated Construction Technology Coordinator for our BC Region, you will contribute to our team by:
  • Building virtual models from plans, specifications and elevations with directsupervision.
  • Collaborating with the project team on the development of construction site logisticsmodels.
  • Collaborating on the trade partner model coordination process and reports to projectmanagement team, as appropriate.•Assists with model updates.
  • Supporting the project team in the creation and processing of RFIs.
  • Promoting the use of virtual construction tools and processes to project staff.
  • Sharing new technologies with project teams and seeks to drive adoption of PCL technologies through operational processes.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
  • Other duties as required.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelors’ degree, diploma or 2 year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
  • Some co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred.
  • Drafting and modeling experience.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications isan asset.
  • Working knowledge and training in 3D modeling software and the ability to createcontent in VDC software is an asset.
  • Exposure to 4D scheduling software and planning tools is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret markups to construction drawings.
  • Ability to participate in trade coordination meetings and understand trade partnerdeliverables and scope.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask andprioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Willingness and comfort with learning, and ability to stay current with newtechnology.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
