As a Integrated Construction Technology Coordinator for our BC Region, you will contribute to our team by:
- Building virtual models from plans, specifications and elevations with directsupervision.
- Collaborating with the project team on the development of construction site logisticsmodels.
- Collaborating on the trade partner model coordination process and reports to projectmanagement team, as appropriate.•Assists with model updates.
- Supporting the project team in the creation and processing of RFIs.
- Promoting the use of virtual construction tools and processes to project staff.
- Sharing new technologies with project teams and seeks to drive adoption of PCL technologies through operational processes.
- Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
- Other duties as required.
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelors’ degree, diploma or 2 year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
- Some co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred.
- Drafting and modeling experience.
- Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications isan asset.
- Working knowledge and training in 3D modeling software and the ability to createcontent in VDC software is an asset.
- Exposure to 4D scheduling software and planning tools is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret markups to construction drawings.
- Ability to participate in trade coordination meetings and understand trade partnerdeliverables and scope.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask andprioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Willingness and comfort with learning, and ability to stay current with newtechnology.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
