Inside Sales Estimator

The Inside Sales/Estimator, under the direction of the current sales team, will be responsible for customer support through a variety of tasks including but not limited to estimating, preparing quotes, coordinating with production. You will track and communicate the progress of the project, entering orders, following up on orders and purchasing materials. The candidate will provide advice and solutions to customers while developing and maintaining relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, natural ability to build relationships, self-motivator, organized and can work in a fast-paced environment with agility and humility.

Job Duties

• Strong customer communication skills.
• Receive inbound phone calls and emails to provide customer service, information, and quotations
• Review project specifications to create proposals and quotations for projects
• Support customer base by resolving questions, concerns, and technical issues, as well as handling customer inquiries and complaints
• Strong organization skills with a positive mindset
• Prepare and maintain job files
• Follow up on quotes
• Develop strong and productive relationships with customers.
• Desire and ability to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, tact, and judgement
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Conduct sales transactions through from inception to shipping
• Team player with support to production staff and others as needed
  

Job Requirements

• Excellent Time management
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Excel & other Microsoft 360 products
• Background in Glass Industry or Metal Fabrication
• Drafting Experience would be an asset
