Dawson International Truck Centres is a full service International, Isuzu, Trail King and Peerless dealership, offering service, parts and sales in five locations across the BC Interior. In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson International Truck Centres, working in a permanent, full-time position of Inside Parts Sales Person, reporting to the Manager, Parts. This role is responsible for assisting the needs of customers and technicians in obtaining required parts and supplies as well as assisting with parts inventory control, and the inventory cycle count process. Your base location will be Kelowna, BC.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Complete walk-in and call-in parts orders.
  • Ability to use and learn computer programs. Procede an asset.
  • Provide customer service that will equate to improved vehicle uptime.
  • You provide excellent customer experience during all customer interactions.
  • Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns with a “Problem Solving” mindset.
  • Ensure inventory controls are met and always followed.
  • Understanding of warrantee parts inventory controls.
  • Complete lost sales reports.
  • Day-to-day tasks such as Stocking Shelves, General Cleaning, etc.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a related industry
  • Parts Person Red Seal an asset
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
