Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to assist in the maintenance, development, and day to day operations of our client’s business.

You will generate value to the business through the information technology systems allowing for the business to run seamlessly, effectively, and efficiently daily.

Job Qualification & Requirements:

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Align technology strategies with the business strategies. Set a vision for how technology will be used in the company.
• Develop, maintain, and use computer systems, software and networks for the processing and distribution of data.
• Oversee network security.
• Direct online operations.
• Coordinate projects such as installing and upgrading hardware and software, programming and system design and implementation of websites.
• Manage IT staff by overseeing, recruiting, and training team members.
• Troubleshoot problems and increase overall efficiency.
• Develop and maintain data backup systems and disaster recovery contingencies.
• Stay up to date with new IT developments in the industry. Implement technologies that yield competitive advantage.
• Monitor daily performance of IT systems, including computers, programs, and networks.
• Conduct technical reviews of products and solutions to evaluate their applicability.
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Management and management of IT teams
• Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
