Altex Industries is a fabrication, engineering and service company that specialize in providing heat transfer equipment and service for the oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Human Resources Team Lead.

Some of the responsibilities and requirements include:

• Oversee Human Resources Administration, Talent Acquisition and Training Development requirements, Performance Review, HR Administration & HR Benefits. Managing ADP system and integrated systems.
• Administer and coordinate all HR Administrative Operating Procedures
• Oversee Support staff: HR Talent Acquisition Specialist, HR Generalist and HR Benefits Coordinator
• Lead HR Administrative & Benefits functions - Hiring / Rehiring / Leaves / Changes / Termination processes
• Lead HR Training based on Hiring needs and Training Development specifications
• Present Training Development as required
• Review, implement and oversee Performance Review
• HR Administrative functions communication – plan and assist Management
• Provide guidance to Receptionist
• HRMS & ADP – HR Management System - manages the development and maintenance of the HR sections of both the Internet, particularly recruiting, culture, and company information, and intranet sites. Maintains employee-related databases.
• ADP HR Administration Masters & Other integrated systems – includes Security, Codes, Maintenance, Analytics, Record Management and Documentation
• SharePoint Document Control: Work with project team and become the HR / PR Functional trainer.
• HR Org Chart Now: Implement and develop this program
• Assists with the development of HR policies for the company with regards to employee relations.
• Cross Training and back up position to HR Talent Acquisition Specialist
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Professional HR Designation preferred or working towards an HR degree
• 8 years of progressive HR General experience – Administration, Benefits and Training Development
• 3 – 4 years of work with or in a unionized payroll environment
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Tech savvy with computer software and programs – HRIS Software
• Demonstrated experience working with ADP Workforce Now
