We have offices located in Nisku, Leduc and Mannville, operating a fleet of Vac & Water trucks, Rental equipment, Heavy equipment, Screen Manufacturing, Centrifuge and Pump repair divisions.Job DescriptionWe’’re looking for a part-time Human Resources Administrator (approx. 12-15 hours per week broken out over 3 days) for a 3-month contract with potential of extension. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and is located on-site at our Head Office in Nisku, AB.ResponsibilitiesMaintain/update HR records and employee files in accordance with compliance laws, and policies provide organizational change information for charts and presentationsCreate offer letters & new hire packages to candidates from direction from hiring managersResponsible for data/file management processes related to new hire, employment changes and termination process across all related databases for all personnelManage benefit program: receive completed enrollment forms, enroll employees, inform employees about their effective date and benefit details, terminate benefits as required based on terminations, layoffs etc.Continuously seek to identify, improve, and automate current processes to improve the HR departmentWork closely with payroll and other departments, exercising the utmost discretion while working with highly confidential informationResponsible for Social Media Marketing: Corporate Facebook & LinkedIn pages.Other duties as required within the HR & Admin department.Skills and QualificationsBachelor’’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management (or currently enrolled)1+ years’’ experience in Human Resources or RecruitmentExceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindsetApproachable personality to work with various level within the company from operators to upper managementAdept to problem-solving and conflict resolutionHigh level of discretion dealing with confidential informationKnowledge of HR policies and systemsFamiliarity with an HRIS (BambooHR is an asset)While we appreciate all interested applicants, only those who meet the qualifications will be contacted for an interview.
