Our client is a world class manufacturer located just outside of the London area and they are currently in search of an HR Administration Specialist whose job is to assist in all Human Resources functions with a focus on administration. The HR Administration Specialist multitasks through participation in: recruitment and onboarding; employee relations; HRIS; metrics; administration; and organizing work and event activities for the company. The HR Administrative Specialist reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Human Resources diploma or degree from a College or University is required

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an Administrative and/or Customer Service support role

• Highly motivated with the ability to pro-actively provide support

• Capable of independently managing multiple tasks/ projects in a professional, efficient manner

• Excellent customer service and follow-through skills

• Outstanding computer skills (MS Office applications)

• Experience with PeopleSoft and Kronos applications an asset

Responsibilities include:

• Coordination and administration of the job posting process – posting to internal and external job boards, process flow tracking, maintenance of employment resumes and applications. Schedule interviews, create and coordinate distribution of follow-up letters, conduct Production Associate candidate pre-screen telephone interviews and reference checks, etc.

• Administrative duties and/or coordination/scheduling of events related to: employee inter-divisional transfers, confirmation of employment letters, company social events, employee votes, HR projects, Leadership Feedback Surveys; Employee Engagement Action Plans, etc.

• Respond to employee general inquiries.

• Update Communication boards and create (internal) communication information presented on televisions (ensures compliance to legislative requirements); create power point slides for Communication meetings;

• Maintain employee personnel files and HR electronic files in line with company policies and legislative regulations. Record retention and input to HRIS

• Administration of the Attendance Program.

• Updates weekly and monthly HR Metric Reports.
