The DAYS INN KINGSTON is looking for an energetic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team!

• Weekends a must, and must have minimum 1 year HOTEL HOUSEKEEPING experience.
• Candidates must be able to multi task and work in a fast pace environment while working within time lines.
• Job includes, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms.
• Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
• Wash, dry, and fold in house hotel linens.
• Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Performs routine duties of all common areas including corridors, stairwells, pool area, public washrooms, exterior grounds.
• Room attendants and Supervisor promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
• Makes bed.
• Dusts the room and furniture.
• Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
• Cleans the bathroom.
• Cleans the closet.
• Vacuums the carpet.
• Checks and secures the rooms.
• Replenish amenities according to the operational standards.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required
• Cleans guest bathroom/bed room/floor corridor.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his or her work area.
• Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area.
• Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him.
• Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
• Additional duties as requested

Expected start date: 2021-09-27

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00 per hour
