About the Role:
As a Hoist Operator, you will be operating a hoist to raise, lower, and move materials, supplies, equipment and staff around the construction site. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Inspect and record pre-shift inspections on hoist equipment and cables;
  • Maintain good housekeeping in and around hoist ways;
  • Report mechanical and operational malfunctions or defects to supervisor;
  • Ensure Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
What you Bring:
The ideal Hoist Operator is someone who is dependable, reliable, and understands the importance of safety on site. You can demonstrate knowledge of hazards and safety precautions that are involved in operating hoists and can communicate effectively to all members of your team.

Our Must Haves
  • At least five (5) years of previous experience as a Hoist Operator;
  • Valid Hoist Operator Certificate;
  • Level 1 First Aid Certification;
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or access to reliable transportation;
  • Ability to work extended hours, organize workload, and manage time effectively;
