Must be Journeyman Parts Sales Representative, with heavy construction machinery experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all materials required for production are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner. Over seeing the shop mechanics, maintaining their daily work schedule. Will also assist with keeping shop organized and assign duties as well as manage assets in inventory system.

*Duties and Responsibilities*

Manage parts division priorities and assign mechanical work (service experience a bonus).

Establish and maintain inventory management parameters within ERP system to ensure material purchases are timely and cost-effective

Order and source materials with urgency

Maintain whiteboard in shop and prioritize assignments to shop workers

Act as the primary vendor contact for production materials including part non conformance and other vendor issues

Continually improve on operational processes

Take daily work logs and transfer materials used from Inventory to Asset cost list

Maintain Assets in system, working with other departments to stay updated

Maintain all employees’ standards and respect team members and facility/equipment

On site minimum of 8 hours per work day

Consistently deliver high quality and timely work

Other duties as assigned

*Qualifications*

Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a Shop Foreman Position

Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a management role with Purchasing and Inventory Control

PMAC Certificate and/or S.C.M.P. Designation would be an asset

Experience with automotive/heavy machinery industry

Must have strong time management skills with an emphasis on meeting deadlines

Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

Strong negotiation skills to effectively negotiate with Suppliers - Team player

Highly energetic and assertive with strong leadership skills

Experience in leading and managing a team

Excellent, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
