NACG is looking for Excavator Operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.SiteKearlSchedule 14x14 (Days and nights)Accommodations Camp providedTransportation Flights provided to and from Edmonton or CalgaryOvertime Currently at Kearl they have blended rates with no overtimeDaily Attraction BonusKearl is offering a daily attraction bonus for days worked at $85/dayKearl Advantage Kearl is offering a travel allowance per rotation. Amount determined based on location. Travel allowances will be paid to/from location.The successful candidate will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.

• Must have at least 3 year’s experience on 80 ton Excavator and up
• Must be willing and able to work in soft ground conditions (Muskeg) and rip frost above shovels
• High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.

All successful candidates must

• Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
• Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Have experience as requested as mentioned above
• Subject to Random Testing at Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
• Undergo and successfully pass the following testing
• Breath Alcohol Test
• Urine Drug Test
• Fitness-to-Work Assessment
• Audiometric Testing
• Vision Screening
• Criminal Record Check

Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date

• CSO Certification
• Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
• VOID cheque/direct deposit form
• Silica Awareness
• Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness

Once dispatched the following processes will occur

• Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
• An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
• After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.
