Agilus is recruiting for a Heavy Duty Mechanic in the manufacturing industry in Spruce Grove, Alberta.

Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or Apprentice wanted for a permanent position in Spruce Grove

A Typical Day

Troubleshooting and performing routine and preventative maintenance on diesel water pumps

Utilize diagnostic computer to assist with troubleshooting

Routinely test diesel pumps on test tank

Complete all associated paperwork i.e., work orders, field tickets, BOLs, diesel pump checklists

Assist with unloading and loading trucks as needed

Perform services and emergency repairs in field as needed

Willingness to learn and work on a wide variety of equipment

Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner according to guidelines and regulations

Requirements

Heavy Duty Mechanic Ticket

Experience with diesel pump wet end is an asset

John Deere & CAT knowledge is an asset

Ability to stand, climb, bend and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions

Self motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Total Rewards

$35 to $45/hr
