Metro Infrastructure Inc is seeking highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Site/Quality Control Field Inspectors to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality control standards amongst various telecommunication utility owners. This position reports to the H&S Manager at our head office located in Brampton Ontario

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of job sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, as well as industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of health and safety plans and quality control measures.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining inspection findings and recommendations for corrective actions, as needed.
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to employees and contractors on health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Participate in accident investigations and provide recommendations for preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, training sessions, and incidents.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in health and safety site inspections and/or quality control inspections in a related industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential hazards.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office nd other relevant software applications.
• Valid G Drivers license with a clean abstract.
• Ability to commute (drive) to various locations across the GTA.
• Means to work in an outdoor setting (various weather conditions should be taken into consideration).
• Previous experience in Telecommunication would be considered an asset.

Salary: $50,500.00-$90,000.00 per year
