The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for complete system hardware development cycles for advanced communication systems.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and reliable, competent in prioritizing and working independently and within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and debug leading-edge digital system hardware for embedded modules and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
• Participate in design and design review
• Document designs and support hardware design verification tests
  

Requirements

• Intimate understanding of analog and digital circuit design and PCB design
• Extensive experience in microprocessor, programmable logic and memory sub-systems
• Well versed in lab measurement tools, and verification and debug methods
• Familiarity in design-for-manufacturing concepts
• Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting
• Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
  

Nice-to-have Skills

• Working experience with analog and mixed signal a plus
• Working knowledge in using Altium Designer and PSpice tools
• Knowledge in RF design a great asset
