Job Description

The GCA Group Leader leads a small team implementing quality audit procedures and maintaining internal Global Customer Audit. The role includes managing all daily activities of the team as well as several internal quality systems including, Fast Response, Daily Report outs, Adherence to Process Control Plans, etc. The successful candidate should be comfortable leading meetings, reporting to senior level management and maintaining strict adherence to standard process systems. Quality Auditing, regulatory compliance work, knowledge of production environments and automotive manufacturing considered an asset.

Job Description

In this role the successful incumbent will be responsible for upholding GM’s purpose and values and ensuring the safe work practices of all it’s employees. You will also support the plant in achieving business plan metrics, including attainment of Quality metrics, while providing support to Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) programs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead plant Global Customer Audit team through daily activities and driving KPI tied to SPQRCE
  • Provide support for problem solving and data collection to aid in production continuous improvement
  • Maintain regulatory compliance documents and improve the GCA team
  • Lead internal report outs and meetings including fast response and daily audit reviews

Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of audit strategy and iso-compliance
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Red-X / Six Sigma training
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency
