Workplace

Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. That’s why we stood up an in-house advisory committee and implemented new work policies that provide our teams with even more flexibility, no matter where they live. Our expectations

Reporting to the IT Manager, IT Supply Chain, the Functional IT Analyst is part of the evolution team of one of the business areas specific to the supply chain, namely planning, distribution, and transport. Its main mandate is to analyze the needs expressed by the Product Manager and/or users and propose the best adapted solutions. He must also supervise the development of, define, prepare, and validate the different test phases. As part of the Agile working model, the Functional IT Analyst works closely with solution architects and developers assigned to the product development.


Your role
  • Assist the architect and Product Manager in defining needs
  • Produce and update Software analysis documentation
  • Provide recommendations considering business needs, architecture, existing applications, costs, and their impact on processes.
  • Participate in the assessment of the time required for development
  • Assist programmers during the implementation phase
  • Participate in the execution of functional and integrated tests and support acceptance tests
  • Be responsible for starting the production of applications
  • Maintain application procedures and documentation
  • Ensure follow-up during the post-implantation period

The qualifications we are looking for
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or equivalent

  • At least 10 years of experience in the development of application systems, including 4 years of experience in analysis

  • Experience in Supply Chain execution and retail systems

  • Experience with BlueYonder TMS, and WMS systems (an asset)

  • Self-taught approach to learning new systems

  • Analysis and synthesis skills

  • Ability to simplify and communicate knowledge

  • Ability to easily adapt to changes

  • Listening skills

  • Sense of organization and service, and concern for quality

  • Team spirit and leadership

  • Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, Java, and Progress

  • Experience with relational databases and NoSQL (Sybase, Oracle or Postgresql and mongoDB)

  • Experience with DevOPs development and key concepts (CI/CD, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)

  • Experience with Software applications: MySQL, Jenkins, Gitlab, GitHub, Miro, and Qtest

  • Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite tools

  • Ability to work in Agile mode (JIRA an asset)
