ROLE @ MNP

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new service-layer features and functionality in Node.js / TypeScript based on technical specifications
• Develop new front-end features and functionality in Angular / JavaScript
• Write unit, system, and integration tests
• Perform testing and technical troubleshooting
• Use JIRA, GitHub, and Docker / AWS to manage work planning, code repositories, pull requests, and deployments
• Build and maintain application deployment processes for both cloud and on-prem components
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, backlog grooming, and feature validation activities
• Perform and participate in code reviews to ensure architecture, security practices, and coding standards are followed
• Work with MySQL databases including administration and tuning
• Implement best practices around identity, access management, and information security using latest industry standards (OIDC, OAuth, SAML, SOC2)
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
• Contribute to application architecture decisions
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers through pair programming, code reviews, and demos.
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a full stack web developer with proficiency in HTML, CSS3, and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Proficient with Node.js, Angular, and SQL
• Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Proficient with MySQL, server administration and database tuning experience is an asset
• Proficient with Linux/Ubuntu with experience performing system administration activities
