An Ambassador at Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre represents the first point of contact with guests and handles all stages of a guest’s stay. Therefore, we are looking to hire an applicant who has strong interpersonal, administrative skills, superior customer service skills, flexible work schedule and successful history as a front desk agent or related hospitality experience. He/she will report to Front Desk Supervisor or Manager on duty. The responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

· Provides customer service and handles administrative duties that are routine and straight forward, such as the making reservations, check-in and check-out of guests, handling guest concerns, handling phone calls, assisting with the arrivals and departures of groups and tours, luggage storage, etc.

· Acts as an Ambassador for Coast, including greeting guests and handling basic inquiries or handling complaints.

· Follows established standard procedures and policies when completing the tasks

· Reviews daily arrivals list and checks VIP notes and other special guest requests

· Provides check-out services to departing guests, ensures that all accounts and payments are correct

· Confident and knowledgeable of the hotel’s immediate area and local attractions

· Frequent and effective communication with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other hotel departments

· Recognize Coast Rewards Members; Enroll new guests into Coast Reward Membership program, describe the benefits and values of being a Coast Reward Member.

· Demonstrates the Coast Core Values at all times

· Accurately completes shift updates and cash-out procedures

· Handles cash, cheques, credit and debit card transactions in accordance with Hotel Policies.

· Informs and updates the Front Office Manager on all guest related issues

· Other duties as required
