Job Description: We are looking for a Copywriter to join our team. If you love writing copy and have experience writing for construction companies, specializing in custom homes and renovations, then this could be a great role for you.

As a Copywriter you will be an integral part of the team. You will need to combine deep understanding of the trends and concerns inherent to the Construction industry with a varied skillset that will include copywriting, conceptual thinking and content project planning. The role will primarily involve writing for direct-to-consumer platforms (website, social, digital, email).

Job Responsibilities:

• Write innovative content that drives action and encourages engagement
• Write copy for social content, digital campaigns, and email blasts
• Repurpose existing content for different uses
• Sharing strategic and creative recommendations to drive maximum results
• Be responsible for working with internal teams to gather input and validate the content
• Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
• Write persuasive, informative, well-written website content

Job Qualifications:

• Experience working at an ad agency or social agency
• 4 years of experience writing for construction companies
• A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums
• A flair for words
• The ability to think conceptually when needed. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpful
• Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members
• Write engaging headlines that will make people actually want to click on your content.
• Write body copy that keeps readers moving from one sentence to the next.
• Write with the kind of emotion that can make your readers take action.
• Write the kinds of calls to action that will result in more emails, phone calls, and conversions.

Compensation: $150 for 800 – 1000 words

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Salary: From $15.00 per hour

• Construction Copywriting: 4 years (preferred)
