MacPhee Ford is currently accepting applications for an Automotive Business Manager to join our successful sales team. We are seeking an individual with a solid background in customer service, who is self-motivated but also understands how working successfully with a team can lead to increased earnings. We are looking for someone who is willing to challenge the norm and continuously adapt their way of thinking. Someone to interact with customers not how it’s always been done before but how it needs to be done now.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Deliver exceptional customer experience on all transactions by exceeding customer satisfaction

  • Learn and maintain product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance, and incentive programs
  • Advise customers on available benefit-added products and services the way they want to interact. (Online via Skype/ Facetime, phone, email, text, in-person)
  • Obtain and secure funding and signatures on all required contracts
  • Maintain all reports as required by the dealership
  • Attend sponsored training classes as scheduled
  • Ensure quotes for products & services are competitive and reasonable
  • Train the sales staff on the benefits of financing, insurance, and extended service programs
  • Establish and maintain strong and professional working relationships with finance companies, banks, manufacturing financing centres and suppliers
  • Ensure that all sales customers and potential sales customers of the dealership are handled in a positive manner and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Provide maximum sales customer satisfaction
  • Seek out and develop additional business office products

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service is a must
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong understanding and utilization of technology
  • Focus on both customer and employee satisfaction
  • Detail-oriented, aptitude for numbers, and analytical skills
  • Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
