As a financial analyst for the Finance IS&T and Transformation team, you will be responsible for conducting financial monitoring for the UNICORN transformation program and providing financial support for the project teams involved. You will track program costs and analyze and control these costs against the business case, regularly issue forecasts and complete month-end tasks (accounting entries, commitments, narratives, etc.). You will also be involved in tracking contract and purchase requisition costs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial monitoring for the program
• Maintain the project costing file and cost detail master file
• Issue financial reports and recommendations to the project management team
• Support project managers with financial planning and cost tracking
• Collaborate with the Finance team on month-end and financial planning processes (forecasts, budgets, risks and opportunities)
• Contribute to accounting tasks for contracts and project activities with the financial team
  

Your Qualifications And Skills

• Professional accounting designation (CPA)
• At least 5 years of experience
• Fluency in English and French, both oral and written
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong desire to learn and to maintain effective operational processes
• Strong sense of initiative
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with SAP an asset
  

Occasional trips to Valcourt may be requested.
