Jealous Fruits is the northernmost large scale cherry producer in North America. We grow premium cherries along the shores of Okanagan Lake in the renowned Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Our cherries are all hand packed in our state-of-the-art facility, located right on our farm, and shipped to our customers worldwide.Job PurposeWe are currently looking for a full-time Financial Analyst - External to join our team in Kelowna. As the Financial Analyst you will join our existing finance team and be a key decision-maker in the finance department’s quest to make every part of or organization, and those who work in it, more successful. You will work closely with the CFO and external stakeholders as we tackle the challenges of a company that has and continues to experience considerable growth. You will be provided with opportunities for ongoing training, professional development, and leadership growth.Duties And Responsibilities

• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for presentation to stakeholders
• Consolidation of related entities with differing currencies
• Manage all company leases – schedules, payments, and notices.
• Manage all bank debt schedules and payments.
• Manage schedules of forward exchange contracts and fair value accounting for swaps and foreign exchange contracts.
• Provide Joint Venture reporting for Company’s joint ventures
• Prepare supporting information schedules for Tax Reporting.
• Manage statutory filings (GST, PST, EHT) and financials for associated companies
• Assist in year-end process
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is preferred, knowledge of Famous and or SAP ERP an asset
• A minimum of five years of industry accounting experience in a relevant accounting role
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, advanced proficiency with Excel
• Strong administrative and data management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, written and oral communication skills
• CPA designation an asset
