Finance Internship Job Description

We are looking for a person who embraces the retail division values, including a passion for driving results, a focus on continuous improvement & innovation and a demonstrated team player.

This individual will play a key role in the retail Finance team period end , yearend and budget processes. We are looking for an individual who is tech savvy, analytically minded and a problem solver.

The role will cover a wide variety of responsibilities, including various analysis and reconciliations required to support the yearend audit, assistance with budgeting and forecasting as well as the evaluation of busi ness opportunities.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Education Required: Finance or Accounting Co-op students in good academic standing, available for Fall term
- Very good communication and organization skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities
- High energy level with thorough attention to details
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

- Participate in developing and executing key projects
- First-hand experience within a fast-moving, growing retail organization
- Participate in year end audit and preparation of material for the audit
- Participate in budgeting and long term planning process
- Review of business line profitability analyses
